Located at the eastern tip of Bogue Banks in Atlantic Beach, the park offers public beach access, picnic areas and bathhouse. Historical Ft. Macon is a brick fortress with museum and bookstore. Free admission and open daily. Check their schedule for live reenactments and don't miss the cannons - the children love them!
